What is an AHS file

AHS files mostly belong to Photoshop by Adobe. AHS is the extension for the Adobe Halftone Screen file format. It is used by Adobe Photoshop, a raster graphics editing software. An AHS file stores the settings needed by Adobe Photoshop to prepare a halftone image. Halftone images are produced using single-colour dots that vary either in size or in spacing to give the desired picture. AHS files are used to store information about the dots within the halftone image.
