What is an AHS file
How can I open an AHS file?
You need a suitable software like Photoshop to open an AHS file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your AHS file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a AHS file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

AHS file extension format:
A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes". The signature can be used to infer the file format. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. In the following you will find our evaluation of the AHS files:
The AHS file extension is quite common and mainly uses a special format. The file formats most commonly found in AHS files are:
- 90% of all AHS files start with the bytes ABJR crucial for this file format. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. Most of these files are 3 MB to 60 MB in size. This file type is new and state-of-the-art. The files contain the following words: ABJR and CUST_INFO.DAT. Such files are related to snunknown and health.
- 6% of all AHS files start with the magic bytes _GKP, which are always the first bytes of this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. AHS files are between 3 MB and 210 MB in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as _GKP and CUST_INFO.DAT.
The remaining 4% of all AHS files are different files with different signatures, often e.g. PKG. Just click the "Choose your .ahs file to analyze" button on this page to find out what your AHS file is.
