What is an AIP file?

AIP files mostly belong to 7-Zip by Igor Pavlov. An AIP file is an add-on or a plugin used to add functionality to Illustrator vector-based graphics illustration software. Windows versions of AIP plugins are actually Windows executables (EXE) format. Another type of AIP file is a Windows installer project created by Avanced Installer. The format can be identified by the letters "MZ" at the beginning. Executable files can also be used to distribute viruses and other types of malicious software (malware). These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. AIP files are between 120 KB and 8 MB in size.
