What is an ANM file

ANM files mostly belong to Blender by Blender. ANM file extension is associated with 2D and 3D animations typically used in video games. The data in ANM animation files are instructions for animating 3D objects referenced by the ANM file. Files with ANM extension were originally used as an Atari ST graphics format for animations but recent games built using game engines such as CryENGINE use ANM extension to store game animation and other data. ANM files found in the installation directory of League of Legends are animation files for rendering referenced SKL (skeletal data) and SKN (game character models). The ANM file extension is also associated with the Abstract Network Model XML format used to create and transfer VISSIM models.

How to open ANM files
