What is an ARL file?

ARL files mostly belong to Hedgehog Engine. ARL files are not uniform. They can be used by several systems for different purposes.
For example, one common use is as a resource archive in Sonic games. These files store game assets such as graphics, animations, and other multimedia data used by engines like the Hedgehog Engine in titles like Sonic Forces, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2.
