Opening ARR Files
The ARR file type is primarily associated with CNC Simulator.
What is an ARR file?
How to open an ARR file
You need a suitable software like CNC Simulator to open an ARR file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your ARR file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a ARR file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

ARR file format:
To view or edit ARR files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. The first characters in a file identify the file format, for example, HTML files start with the bytes <html>. Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Our evaluation of the ARR files is as follows:
An ARR file covers different formats for different programs. However, the following two file formats are common:
- 20% of all ARR files have the same signature CNC ARRAY. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. The file size is in the range of 590 bytes to 310 KB. The file type is relatively new. The following keywords are characteristic: CNC ARRAY. A common filename is ini.arr or da.arr. Files like these are about save and array.
- 15% of all ARR files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "MFU ARRAY" at the beginning. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. Most of these files are 430 bytes to 870 KB in size. The files contain the following words: MFU ARRAY. The file name Save1.arr or save.arr is typical for these files.
All other ARR files (65%) have no uniform format, often, for example, XML, Source, include, use, Arrival and VRAK. Tagged as group, module, small, problem, solving or code. If you want to find out which format your ARR file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .arr file to analyze".
Technical Data for ARR File Extension
The following listing is compiled from the database produced by the 'Associate This!' program, selected data from the main FILExt database and file extension information submitted by users.

an arr data file is a special file format and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.
How to solve problems with ARR files
- Associate the ARR file extension with the correct application.
- Update your software that should actually open data files. Because only the current version supports the latest ARR file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the manufacturer website after an available CNC Simulator update.
- To make sure that your ARR file is not corrupted or virus-infected, get the file again and scan it with Google's virustotal.com.
- Click here to open your .ARR file online - secure, fast, and no downloads needed.
