What is an ICC file?

ICC files mostly belong to Photoshop by Adobe. ICC stands for International Color Consortium. The International Color Consortium is an organization that has set standards for color profiles. These profiles are called ICC profiles and they define how a device reproduces color. They ensure that the presentation of color is consistent across different devices, printed documents, and software. ICC profiles are applicable to both input devices - such as scanners and digital cameras - and output devices - such as printers and monitors. They are also used by image editing and graphics software like Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Affinity Designer. The ICC file stores color settings for an ICC profile in a binary format. How can I open an ICC file?

You need a suitable software like Photoshop to open an ICC file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
