What is an ICD file

ICD files mostly belong to Easergy Studio by Schneider. An ICD file is a 2D/3D drawing created with iCAD computer-aided design program. It contains geometry, annotations, and metadata of a technical drawing. ICD is also the filename extension of a 3D drawing created with IronCAD design software. This file is not the same as the one created by iCAD. Another type of ICD file contains a description of an intelligent electronic device's (IED) capabilities.
