What is an IFX file

IFX files mostly belong to IrfanView. IFX files are used in several different ways. The most common version is a TIFF-based Image Fax File, also known as an Image Transfer Format file. This file stores image data that is often viewed with programs like IrfanView.

How can I open an IFX file?

You need a suitable software like IrfanView to open an IFX file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
