What is an INFO file?

INFO files mostly belong to Drupal by Drupal Community. INFO filename extension is typically used to store documentation and manuals written with Texinfo on UNIX-based operating systems and stored in Textinfo file format. How to open an INFO file

You need a suitable software like Drupal to open an INFO file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
