INFO format details:
If you know the file format, you can also find out how to open or edit the file. The file format can be determined based on the file extension and the signature (the first few characters of a file). Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. Our examination of the INFO files comes to the following conclusion:
The INFO file extension is quite widespread and has no uniform or dominant file format. The following file formats are most commonly found in INFO files:
- 10% of all INFO files start with the bytes 5A 0B 4E 09 55 15 4E 5D 43 10 0F 0D 08 59 46 54, which are crucial for this file format. These files are not pure binary files and are therefore readable and interpretable with a text editor. The file size is in the range of 300 bytes to 1 MB. It is a modern file type. The following keywords are characteristic: e[EZ5n. Examples of file names are sms.info or calllog.info. Files like these are sometimes connected to contact, backup, device, audio and types.
- 10% of all INFO files store the data in the JSON file format. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data−interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines to parse and generate. If you open these files in a text editor, you can view and read the content yourself. INFO files can be up to 180 bytes in size, but are often around 120 bytes - 180 bytes. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. \"returnValue\": true, device_name and {"INFO":"{ \"core_os_release\". A common filename is INFO..
All other INFO files (80%) have no uniform format, such as ZoomBrowser Ex thumbnails, Multibit Bitcoin wallet info, GNU Info document, PNG, plist, XML, config, SQL, UTF-8, Name, Innersloth, backup, IDS, Branch, Source and Mod. Tagged as match, build, wcpay, mcmod, content, document, install, export, krkopt, black, world or user. If you want to find out which format your INFO file belongs to, just click on the button "Choose your .info file to view this image".
