What is an NB file?

NB files mostly belong to Paradox by Corel. An NB file is a notebook created by some versions of Paradox database management system in WordPerfect office productivity software suite. Paradox saves notebooks (NB files) in the same format as WPD documents. Another type of NB file is a text document created by Nota Bene notetaking and reference management software for Windows desktop. macOS uses some NB files containing data saved in AppleDouble format. Mathematica mathematical problem computation and visualization environment saves notebooks in NB files.

How to open an NB file

You need a suitable software like Paradox to open an NB file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
