What is an NFT file?

NFT files mostly belong to Gamebryo Engine. Your NFT file is a game asset file used mainly for textures in 3D models.

How can I open an NFT file?

You need a suitable software like Gamebryo Engine to open an NFT file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. • 50% of all NFT files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "Gamebryo File Format, Version 20.3.0.9 " at the beginning. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. The file size is in the range of 67 KB to 2 MB. The file type was created 10 years ago, but is still used today. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as Gamebryo File Format, Version 20.3.0.9, NiIntegerExtraData, NiPixelData, NiSourceTexture and NiStringExtraData. The following filename is common: HUDElems.nft or fonts.nft. These files can be linked to mermaid and loadsc.
• 20% of all NFT files start with the bytes ENFT, which are crucial for this file format. They consist of illegible, cryptic characters. The files are on average 53 KB in size and range from 27 KB to 78 KB. The keywords ENFT are typical for these files.
