What is an NTS file?

NTS files mostly belong to HCL Domino by HCL. NTS is the file extension used by a Notes Traveler server configuration file. Notes Traveller is a push-email application that provides IBM Notes and Domino users easy access to emails and personal information management tools (such as calendar and contacts) on mobile devices. The software uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection for data encryption. It was previously named Lotus Notes Traveller. NTS is a server configuration file that stores information required by the software to connect to the Notes Traveller server. The file contains information such as the user ID, host name, servlet path, and port numbers. It is an XML format file that can be opened in any text editor. The default file name for an NTS file in Notes Traveller is bootstrap.NTS. The file may be deployed on the Notes Traveller server in the Domino Web server directory. The path where the NTS file is located is [Domino data directory]\domino\html\traveler\bootstrap\bootstrap.nts
