The MicroStation program generates vector graphics objects and several elements which include building information and modelling features within a building.

  • Main Usage: p01 files contain the interface components which are incorporated within every project created by the MicroStation program. Furthermore, through the program, the file extensions from P01 all the way up to P99 are utilized for different components within the project.
  • Alternatives: The MicroStation program is not the only application which utilizes P01 files. In regards to the Roxio Toast program, P01 files are utilized as a copy of a CD image created through the program. Additionally, the GEAR software has similar functionality to the Roxio Toast program, where the P01 created are CD or DVD disc images made by their corresponding software.
