What is a PCA file?

PCA files mostly belong to VGStudio Max.

To find out what program is needed to open PCA files, you need to determine the file format. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). • 20% of all PCA files are based on the popular config file format. A configuration file is used by computer software to store settings. It consists of a text-based content with a structure and syntax comprising key–value pairs for properties, and sections that organize the properties. The content consists of readable text data, which can be read using a text editor. A typical file size is 3 KB. The keywords Comment=, LoadDefault=1, Version-pca=2, [AutoScO], [General], [Geometry], Active=0, Magnification and SystemName are typical for these files. Such PCA files store data about alioramus, amnh, right and left.
• 8% of all PCA files are using the well-known JetDB file format to store the data. The JetDB is a database format often used by Microsoft Access and Visual Basic programs. JET is short for Joint Engine Technology. They consist of unreadable binary data. The files are on average 610 KB in size and range from 340 KB to 6 MB. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. Standard Jet DB. OPC_Mixer_Correction_Final.pca is a typical file name. Files like these have the following tags: correction and mixer.
