FilExt.com note: Each PDV file is tied to the software that created it. Always use the designated application to open and edit the file to avoid corruption or loss of data.
How to open PDV files
You need a suitable software like DaVinci Resolve to open a PDV file. PDV file format:
Why is it important to know the file format? This is the only way to find out which program to use to open the file. The file format can be determined based on the file extension and the signature (the first few characters of a file). Nonetheless, different programs can utilize the same file extension to represent distinct file formats. Double-clicking on the file often results in an error when opening. Exact knowledge of the format is therefore important in order to solve problems occurring in files. Our evaluation of the PDV files looks like this:
Files with the PDV extension are quite widely used. This file type mainly uses a defined PDV format. The two most popular formats are as follows:
- 85% of all PDV files start with the bytes BMDT, which are crucial for this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. PDV files are between 5 KB and 310 KB in size. It is a modern file type. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. BMDT. Such files sometimes refer to fortnite, video, gopr, intro, trailer, call, offensive, counter, scanner, shoedna, action, global, strike, music, duty and trim.
- 2% of all PDV files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "ÌHÊWÐDÒV" at the beginning. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. A typical file size is 180 KB. A common filename is mtfxl.pdv or mtf7.pdv.
All the rest of the PDV files (13%) have different formats, the following 5 formats exist: UTF-8, GZIP and CAT. These files sometimes refer to report, advice, note, warfare, modern, maquila, volume or orden. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your PDV file!
