What is an RPR file?

RPR files mostly belong to OEM Update. The RPR file can take two forms depending on where it comes from. In one case it is used as a container for vehicle data. This version uses a ZIP archive structure to store data for Hyundai vehicle applications and is also linked with Renault software updates. In the other case the RPR file is based on the PDF format with embedded annotations and is managed with tools like Nuance PaperPort.
For the automotive type, the file holds multiple data components within a compressed structure. You may be able to open it with an archive manager by renaming the extension to .zip. For the PDF variant, look for a '%PDF-' header that signals a document with annotations and consider a PDF reader for full functionality.

If the file does not open normally, try renaming it to .zip or .pdf to match its structure.

How to open an RPR file
