How to open S1 files
You need a suitable software like Financial software to open an S1 file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. Our analysis of the S1 files produces the following result:
S1 is not a commonly used file extension and covers different formats for different programs. The file formats most commonly found in S1 files are:
- 35% of all S1 files use the same file format, which have the signature BRANCH . The content consists of readable text data, which can be read using a text editor. Most of these files are 8 KB to 97 KB in size. This file type is new and state-of-the-art. The keywords Bank, ADDRESS, USER, :ALMORA URBAN, ALMORA URBAN CO-OPERATIVE BANK LTD, CO-OPERATIVE BANK, LTD.,RUDRAPUR BRANCH and NODE are typical for these files. An example of a file name is CA 532.S1 or CA 533.S1. Such files are related to emiupl, adja and hlcomm.
- 15% of all S1 files use the popular GZIP file format. Gzip is a compressed archive file format. Gzip (GNU zip) is only capable of compressing a single file. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. S1 files can be up to 43 KB in size, but are often around 59 bytes - 13 KB. An example of a file name is cdata.s1 or inv.s1. These files are attributed to trait and adata.
