What is a SAT file?

SAT files mostly belong to 3D ACIS Modeler by Dassault Systèmes. A SAT file contains a 3D model saved in Standard ACIS Text format using a CAD program compatible with 3D ACIS Modeler engine. The content of a SAT model is stored as ASCII text. It includes constraints, geometry, and properties used to render a 3D model. A SAT file may be used to exchange CAD data between programs such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, and Fusion 360. Another type of SAT file is an infrared image created with IRT Cronista thermographic analyzer/reporter.

How can I open a SAT file?
