What is an SBP file?

SBP files mostly belong to Sitebulb. SBP files are not a single file type. They are used by various specialized applications to store different kinds of data.
For example, one common use is for website audits. In this case, the SBP file is a ZIP-based container that holds a Sitebulb audit report with detailed website analysis. Viewers like Sitebulb open these files to review performance data.

The SBP file extension covers a large number of different file formats. However, the following two file formats are common:

15% of all SBP files start with the bytes 01 00 05 00 crucial for this file format. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The files are often between 24 KB and 2 MB in size. The keywords SBPW are typical for these files. vo_glb_kratos_banter.sbp is a typical file name. Such files sometimes refer to kratos, banter, efforts and special.
