What is an SFR file?

SFR files mostly belong to SAP Crystal Reports. The SFR file is a SuccessFactors report file used to hold structured data for business and HR reports. It is an internal file format created in environments that use tools like SAP Crystal Reports or the SuccessFactors Report Builder, and sometimes integrated with PeopleForce.

This file stores data that is processed and formatted for report output.

It is not intended for manual editing.

The file works only with the specific reporting software that generated it.

How to open SFR files

You need a suitable software like SAP Crystal Reports to open an SFR file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your SFR file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a SFR file directly in the browser:. SFR file format details:

A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Our evaluation of the SFR files looks like this:

The SFR file extension is not found very often and is used by a few programs, each with its own file format. The two most common formats are as follows:

• 50% of all SFR files have the same signature V2-. They consist of unreadable binary data. SFR files are between 2 KB and 140 KB in size. The file type was developed only in the last few years. The files contain the following words: mgon. These files are attributed to report, permission, user, info, compensation, employee, data and sync.
• 5% of all SFR files use the same file format, which have the signature 09 83 89 30 54 F0 FA 2C. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. Most of these files are 43 KB to 100 KB in size.
