What is a TBP file?

TBP files mostly belong to The Bat! Voyager by RITLABS. A TBP file is a plugin used to extend the capabilities of The Bat! Voyager email client. TBP is also the filename extension of an accounting data file used by TASBooks accounting software. A ZIP-compressed building project design file created with Tekla BIMsight architectural design and building information modeling program has TBP filename extension. This file contains the model of a building observable from various angles. Tekla BIMsight is now discontinued. A file format defines how the data in the file is structured. The initial characters of a file are called signature, sometimes also referred to as "magic bytes".
