What is a TOP file?

TOP files mostly belong to Topocad by Adtollo. A TOP file is a 2D/3D map/terrain drawing created with Topocad topological data analysis and design system. This file is usually stored alongside PXY (coordinates) and SUR (survey) files. TOP is also the filename extension of a design document containing a 3D product part/assembly model, mold, or wireframe created with TopoSolid solid modeling and CAM software. e-Sword bible study program uses a TOP file to store bible topic notes. How to open a TOP file

You need a suitable software like Topocad to open a TOP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. How to solve problems with TOP files

Associate the TOP file extension with the correct application.
Update your software that should actually open drawings. Because only the current version supports the latest TOP file format. Search, therefore, e.g. on the Adtollo manufacturer website after an available Topocad update.
