What is a TRU file

TRU files mostly belong to Specialized. A TRU file is not a single standard file format but a container used by several independent systems to store specific types of data. It can serve different purposes such as:

How do you open TRU files?

You need a suitable software like Specialized to open a TRU file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. • 10% of all TRU files use the same file format, which can be identified by the letters "COM: IFN/ENIT-database truth (label) file COM: http" at the beginning. These files are text files and can therefore be read using a text editor. A typical file size is 280 bytes. The files contain the following words: BDR: begin data record, COM: IFN/ENIT-database truth (label) file, COM: IfN, TU-BS, COM: http://www.ifnenit.com, ;AW2:aaA!la, COM: ae07_001.tif coming from pa021_0.tif, LBL: ZIP:1251;AW1 and X_Y: 449 119. ae07_001.tru is a typical file name.
