What is a TTM file?

TTM files mostly belong to SiteVision by Trimble. A TTM file is a mission in Tower Toppler platformer/arcade video game. A mission file contains information such as a game level, puzzles, objects, and backgrounds. Another type of TTM file is a triangulated digital terrain model created by SiteVision augmented reality system. Such terrain models contain a 2D or 3D representation of a terrain written in LandXML language. TTM is also the filename extension of a model created by CoppeliaSim robotics simulation software. 20% of all TTM files start with the magic bytes VREP, which are always the first bytes of this file format. These are binary files, so they do not contain words or text. Most of these files are 31 KB to 1 MB in size. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as VREP. A common filename is FrankaEmikaPanda.ttm.
