What is a VDX file

VDX files mostly belong to Visio by Microsoft. VDX filename extension is mainly used to store cutscenes short clips, and other in-game videos used in The 7th Guest video game. Visio, a vector graphics editor for creating charts and workflow diagrams stores charts and drawings in VDX files. The contents of these VDX files are written in XML language and they are similar to the VSD file, except VSD files are stored in binary format.
