FMB file extension format:
To view or edit FMB files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. The first characters in a file identify the file format, for example, HTML files start with the bytes <html>. Frequently, however, one file extension is used by different programs for different file formats, and one file format for different file extensions. So you need a detailed analysis of a file to find out the format and the associated program. Our evaluation of the FMB files is as follows:
FMB is a very widely used file extension. The file type is primarily used by a single program. But the following two file formats are common:
- 90% of all FMB files are Oracle Binary Form files. They consist of unreadable binary data. The average file size is 400 KB with most files being between 86 KB and 1 MB in size. The file type was developed 20 years ago and is still in use today. Certain words are almost always found in the files, such as !"#$%&'()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_`abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{!}~ and ROS.60050. These files are often associated with menu, login, form, list, user, dtls, hndg, customer, mainmenu, voucher, master, module, card and cntr.
- 4% of all FMB files save the data in Flash file format. A ShockWave Flash file contains an outdated Macromedia/Adobe Flash Player compressed movie. Adobe strongly recommends all users immediately uninstall the Flash Player to help protect their systems. These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. The file size is in the range of 500 bytes to 140 KB. An example of a file name is 1.fmb or 4.fmb.
All the rest of the FMB files (6%) have different formats, the following 3 formats can be found: COMPUAPPS. Sometimes used for quotations, apxinwkb, msinbrow, poxpoepo, shipment, company, details, process, course, import, logon, apop, bank, edit, info, pass, stud, temp, trpt or view.
