What is a SEP file?

SEP files mostly belong to Endpoint Security by Braodcom. SEP filename extension is associated with bitmaps saved as sub-files within a TIFF container. XnView can open such SEP images. How to open a SEP file

SEP file format:

Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. Each file format has a unique extension and almost always a unique signature. For example, Microsoft Word documents have the extension .docx and the signature (usually the first 3 characters in this file) PK. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly.
