The FXM file type is primarily associated with 'BigFix' by BigFix, Inc.. This is configuration management software for a computer network. The BigFix platform works by deploying policy-intelligent agents to every endpoint computer on a network, where the agents continuously report up-to-date system information to give keep administrators real-time visibility into hardware and software properties and configurations on each computer. The agents also monitor for any software configuration changes, patches, vulnerabilities or other information that may pertain to the computer.
