Notes about the IID file extension:
Incorrect file associations could be the result of underlying issues within your PC system. As such it is highly recommended to scan your PC for invalid registry entries, unused processes and other unfavourable system settings to identify slowdown issues.
The IID file type is primarily associated with 'i-Installer' by Gerben Wierda & Tom Hageman. i-Installer is a generic software install and configuration application for Mac OS X. It installs i-Packages, which are wrappers (directories containing files) with names ending .II2 and which will look like files in most applications (like the Finder). i-Packages can be updated and downloaded from remote locations. Most of this will happen automatically. The easiest way to create packages on disk from remote locations is using a Known Packages menu. This will list a series of packages and their location for you to choose from, called an i-Directory.
