To turn any music into an iPhone ringtone...
- Select your music (watch length, can't be longer than 30 sec) and use iTunes to convert to AAC format (M4A file).
- Save the short version and make certain you can see it in Windows Explorer (or the Mac Finder).
- Select the file and rename with .M4R (Windows will warn you but do it anyhow).
- In iTunes re-import the file and then connect the iPhone and sync the playlist. If needed, drag the file to the iPhone Ringtone area and the file should be ready to use as a ringtone.
