File Extension VSI

File type: Internal File

The VSI file type is primarily associated with 'ratDVD' by RatDVD - Canada. ratDVD provides a way to encode a complete, full featured DVD in one file. ratDVD takes a full featured DVD-9 movie and puts it into a highly compressed .RATDVD container format file of about 1.x GB in size while preserving all the features of the original DVD. [Note: If you can see the .XVO and .VSI files inside the ratDVD file you have done something wrong. WinZIP and WinRAR can see these files but they will not play outside of the ratDVD container.]

When windows gives you an error message saying that it
"Cannot open VSI files", this means either:

A. You need to identify a program that can open the file
B. Or your registry may be damaged

In both cases it is strongly recommended that you
run a free scan for registry errors.
