Notes about the XFL file extension:
Incorrect file associations could be the result of underlying issues within your PC system. As such it is highly recommended to
scan your PC for invalid registry entries, unused processes and other unfavourable system settings to identify slowdown issues.
The XFL file type is primarily associated with 'Flash' by Adobe Systems Incorporated. The Adobe CS4 products use a new exchange format called XFL. The details of the XFL file are not fully known as of this posting however Adobe has promised to release the specifications. The XFL file itself is a ZIP archive. Inside the archive are the source materials for a Flash document. Also inside is an XML file describing the document in a way that Adobe Flash can read the XML file and the other contents and construct the Flash document from that. The intent is to allow other programs to be able to create Flash files and exchange the source data for those files (e.g., modify images in the archive without disturbing the associated timeline).
