GTM file format:
To find out what program is needed to open GTM files, you need to determine the file format. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. However, different programs can use the same file extension. Furthermore, a file extension can be renamed incorrectly and double-clicking on it will then display an error when it is opened. When there is a problem with a file, the first step to solving it is to determine the file format. Below you will find our evaluation of the GTM files:
GTM is seldom used as a file extension and mainly uses a special format. However, the following two file formats are common:
- 70% of all GTM files belong to GPS TrackMaker map. If you open these files in a text editor, you will see only illegible characters. GTM files are between 1 KB and 670 KB in size. The file type was created 10 years ago, but is still used today. The keywords TrackMaker and Arial are typical for these files. Files like these are about caminho, glaura, pontos, trecho, velho and mapa.
- 6% of all GTM files use the popular config file format. A configuration file is used by computer software to store settings. It consists of a text-based content with a structure and syntax comprising key–value pairs for properties, and sections that organize the properties. The content consists of readable text data, which can be read using a text editor. The files are on average 7 KB in size and range from 7 KB to 7.7 KB. The following keywords are characteristic: DataSet=175, Default Batch Output=File, Description, Display=Spreadsheet,Grid,Chart, Menu KeyWords=User, Show Column Label Titles=1, [Header] and [Table]. Such files are related to report, weekly and foods.
All the rest of the GTM files (24%) have different formats, frequently e.g. INFO. They are often associated with mesh. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your GTM file!
