Until now, I have been doing this in a text editor:
- backup 'old-file.dat' - open 'old-file.dat' containing multiple MIDI files - search for 'MThd' (start of file #) - delete everything before it (header of 'old-file.dat', if any) - save (changes, if any) - search for next 'MThd' (start of file #+1) - delete everything after it (files #+1, #+2, #+3...) - save as 'new-file-#.mid' - close - open 'old-file.dat' - search for 'MThd' (start of file #) - search for next 'MThd' (start of file #+1) - delete everything before it (file #) - save - start over - restore backup file That is, slice up a big file containing multiple files into single files. Is there any program that can do this? |

Alright, I found some programs:
- Extractor - http://www.volny.cz/nova-software/ - Multi Ripper - http://www.baccan.it/ |
