Hi,
I just installed the Picture Project CD for my new Nikon Coolpix 5200. My computer is new, & my "handle" is No-techno for a reason. I have XP operating system. I attached the USB cord to the camera & the computer. The instructions say to turn the camera on - I did - & Picture Project will detect the camera & display a Transfer window. This did not happen. A window came up that has a Misc. file, which I opened, which has "order.njb". I opened that file, & got a box that says in order to open the file, Windows needs to know which program created it. My guess is that particular program is not in my new computer. I am not sure which program I need to add to make my Nikon program work. Any thoughts?? Thank you. |

Not familiar with the Nikon software and so can't really support it. Have you called them?
Basically, when installing such things you install the software BEFORE connecting the camera. Sometimes you have to restart to get the drivers running that will monitor and detect the connection of the camera. If that's not working then you need to speak with Nikon to see what's going on. |
