Default Transfer youtube video to iPod/psp/zune

First, you need to download the video off YouTube and then to convert the flv file to iPod/Zune/ PSP.

Download video from YouTube

1. Find a favourite video clip from YouTube.com

YouTube.com seems to have the greatest variety of video clips, from classic skatevideos, to old commercials, to archived music videos, etc. Go to choice a favourite one.

2. Download it and save as the FLV file

For Internet Explorer (PC) users

Find a favourite video clip, copy the url link which is located right below the video you've chosen and paste it to the “URL:” box from the site . After clicking on the “search” button, [Download Link] would be showed. You only need to right-click the [Download Link] and save the file.

Note: rename the file extension from *.php to *.flv when saving it. So, the FLV video file was saved to your computer. The FLV file isn’t widely used, so you need to download a special player to play the file. Freeware FLV Player is highly recommended. Download FLY Player [Edited: We don't allow direct links to downloads here. The URL removed was http://www. soft29.com/ download/ freeware/ flvplayer_setup.exe and you can take out the spaces after copying to get the file. --DaBoss]

For Internet Explorer (Mac) users

Search your hard drive for a file called "get_video". You can use Spotlight to find the file.

Copy it to your Desktop. Rename the file extension from *.php to *.flv.

Convert the FLV file

There are many programs to convert the FLV file. Mac users may look at iSquint. It's a free application. It can be downloaded at the site. PC users has the FLV Converter. It can convert FLV to AVI, FLV to MPEG, FLV to WMV, SWF, iPod, PSP, MP3, M4B, M4A, etc. Get FLV Converter.

You can use VideoDownloader to download videos from Google Video, iFilm, Metacafe, Dailymotion, Myspace. etc. sites if you are using mozilla.

[Or the extension here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3006/ as perhaps an alternative with better reviews. --DaBoss]

There's also a program called Total Recorder (which captures streaming audio) that recently released an add-on that captures any video played on a computer. You just select whatever program or even whatever portion of your desktop you want to capture from, and click Record. Very simple.

Default spammer_ADDs = madison28

madison28 you are promoting your own site in all three links , this would be ok if your site was well made - but its badly written and looks old - which makes me think I can not trust you or your software - I notice you have made only 2 posts, you should be removed for self-promotion.

To all the ppl who may wish to go to his site, be careful, if you do go there read comments 1,2,3 and 4 to see how unprofessional this guy is before you download any software from him, you never know what his real motives are. Good Luck
