Unhappy How to open DEF file??

I have saved the contact from my mobile handset to my PC. Since i have lost my handset, i am desperately in need of the contact no. but when i try to open the file, it is in DEF file and i can't open it. pls advice how to open such file which is in .DEF?

Unhappy I have the same problem and want to recover all contacts.

Please suggest me for the application that can convert .def file in order to open in computer not PDA.

It might help to know what type of PDA.

In the meantime, see if you can import the file into Excel or some other spreadsheet with an import wizard. If the file has a structured format the import wizard might be able to decipher it and what you'll then see would be a record/field database structure in the spreadsheet. No guarantees but that sometimes works for me when looking at unknown files.
