HP file format details:
Each file has a definite file format, that is, how the stored data is arranged in the file. The first characters in a file identify the file format, for example, HTML files start with the bytes <html>. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. So a detailed analysis of a file is vital in order to determine the format and the associated program. Our evaluation of the HP files looks like this:
The HP file extension does not have a uniform file format. The two most popular formats are as follows:
- 15% of all HP files use the same file format, which have the signature 1B 2E. The contents of these files are easily readable with a text editor. The files are 5 KB to 1 MB in size, with a median of 260 KB. The file type was created 20 years ago but is still used today. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. .@1536;2, .I512;;17 and .T3072;;.
- 10% of all HP files use the same file format, which have the signature IN. The contents of these files can even be read by a human. HP files can be up to 360 KB in size, but are often around 22 KB - 250 KB.
All other HP files (75%) have different formats, frequently e.g. JSON and HPHP. These files sometimes refer to tfevents, events or pink. If you want to find out what your HP file contains, drag and drop it onto this page.
