What is a DMD file?

DMD files mostly belong to SQL Developer Data Modeler by Oracle. A DMD file contains a database design created with SQL Developer Data Modeler. The contents of a DMD file include database schema definitions written in Extensible Markup Language (XML) and used to generate databases. DMD is also the filename extension of a data file used by Quattro (previously Corel Data Modeling Desktop) spreadsheet application. A doodle created with Dungeon Map Doodler is also saved in a DMD file.

How to open DMD files

You need a suitable software like SQL Developer Data Modeler to open a DMD file.
