What is an ICON file

ICON files mostly belong to Chromium. ICON files are specialized graphic files that store computer icon images. They are mainly used to represent program or folder icons in user interfaces.

How do you open ICON files?

You need a suitable software like Chromium to open an ICON file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
