What is an ATT file?
How to open an ATT file

Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your ATT file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a ATT file directly in the browser:. Just drag the file onto this browser window and drop it.

ATT file format details:
To view or edit ATT files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. A file format is determined by the file extension and signature, so JPEG images have the extension .jpg and the first bytes in the file are ÿØÿ. However, different programs can use the same file extension, and file extensions can be assigned incorrectly. Exact knowledge of the format is therefore important in order to solve problems occurring in files. Our examination of the ATT files comes to the following conclusion:
The ATT file extension is used very often and includes a lot of different file formats for different programs. But the following two file formats are common:
- 15% of all ATT files store the data in the JPG file format. JPEG is the standard image format for lossy and compressed image data. These files contain neither text nor words, but only data. The average file size is 210 KB with most files being between 13 KB and 1 MB in size. The file type was primarily used more than 10 years ago. Several words can almost always be found in the files, e.g. Exif and JFIF.
- 10% of all ATT files internally utilize the PDF file format. PDF is short for Portable Document Format, is a file format to present documents, including text formatting and images, in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems. The content consists of illegible binary data, which can only be read and interpreted by the associated programs. The file size is in the range of 23 KB to 15 MB. These files can be linked to axis.
The remaining 75% of all ATT files are files with no common format, such as ZIP, DOC, UTF-8, TIFF, VISION, From and BEGIN. These files are often connected to results, attachment, node, terrain, vehicle, lading or bill. Drag & drop your file here to see the file format and a preview of your ATT file!
