What is an AWD file?

AWD files mostly belong to Away3D by Away. Files with AWD filename extension are usually documents containing drawings or paintings created with Artweaver painting software. An AWD document contains sketches, layers, brush strokes, text, and other graphics elements that make up a drawing. Draw, a vector graphics editor and layout program also stores drawings AWD files. Away3D, an open-source 3D software that uses Flash and/or HTML5 technology to create interactive applications and video games stores 3D models in AWD files.
