What is a CFS file

CFS files mostly belong to Lucene by Apache. CFS stands for Compact File Set. CFS format is an open archive file format from Pismo Technic and is used to save data in the form of a compressed container file.

Main Use: CFS files are used in the distribution of software distribution of packages. CFS file format is based on ISO-9660, Joliet Extensions, ISO-9660:1999, and Compact ISO. How to open a CFS file

You need a suitable software like Lucene to open a CFS file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
