What is an FLC file?
How to open FLC files
You need a suitable software like Media Player to open an FLC file. FLC format details:
To view or edit FLC files you need to know the file format, because it determines how the data in this file is stored. The file format can be deduced from the file extension and the signature. Nonetheless, different programs can utilize the same file extension to represent distinct file formats. Double-clicking on the file often results in an error when opening. Knowledge is power - this also applies when dealing with unknown or faulty files. Below is our analysis of the FLC files:
FLC is a very widely used file extension. The file type mainly uses a special format. But the following two file formats are common:
- 70% of all FLC files use the same file format, which have the signature AF 12. The contents of these files cannot be read by a human; only a computer program can interpret the data. The file size is in the range of 7 MB to 10 MB. The file type is a fairly new file format.
- 15% of all FLC files have the same signature 00 12 AF. These files are binary files, so they do not contain text, but only cryptic characters. The files are often between 24 KB and 3 MB in size. These files are attributed to attacka, pine, tree, gorgon and small.
The remaining 15% of all FLC files are different files with different signatures, the following 4 formats can be found: FIGfont control and XFSFORM. Just click the "Choose your .flc file to view this image" button on this page to find out what your FLC file is.
