What is an MTM file?
These files hold a collection of sample data, instrument definitions, and pattern sequences that tracker software uses to play multi‐channel audio.
- Purpose: To encapsulate music data into a compact module.
- Usage: Played and edited with tracker applications such as MultiTracker or MilkyTracker.
- Functionality: They include playback instructions with patterns and mixing commands for each channel.
FilExt.com note: Open these files using dedicated module players like MilkyTracker or OpenMPT on your PC.
