What is a PAGES file?

PAGES files mostly belong to Pages by Apple. PAGES is the filename extension of a document created by Pages word processor for Apple operating systems. This file is actually a compressed ZIP archive with a different filename extension (PAGES). It contains text, layout information, color data, objects, and embedded images. Another type of PAGES file contains data such as models and textures used to create a map in Doom first-person shooter video game. Older video games developed by Rage Games use a megatexture saved in a different PAGES file.

How to open PAGES files
