What is a PT file?

PT files mostly belong to flair by flair. A PT file is an application project created with Panther framework for component-based development environments. It contains information about scripts, media sources, and metadata. PerformanceTEST computer benchmarking application uses a different PT file to save a computer's benchmarks. PT is also the filename extension of a web page template created with Plone content management system. A PT page template is written in TAL; an XML-based templating language for creating web page themes. How to open a PT file

The file format determines how the data is stored in the file. Often, the file format can be deduced from the file extension or the initial bytes (called the signature). If the file extension does not match the file format, double-clicking on the file will cause an error upon opening. 45% of all PT files use the same file format, which have the signature 80 02 8A 0A 6C FC 9C 46 F9 20 6A A8 50 19 2E 80. They consist of unreadable binary data. All other PT files (20%) have no uniform format, often, for example, Kodak Precision Transform, PassMark PerformanceTest, JFIF, GZIP, PDF, JSON, DOC and POINT.
