What is a RAX file?
RAX files mostly belong to ChemStation. Usage: Open with ChemStation for proper data interpretation. Content: Contains proprietary instrument readings used in laboratory settings. Usage: Play with RealPlayer to decode and retrieve the audio. Purpose: Ensure that streaming audio is kept secure from unauthorized use.

How can I open a RAX file?

Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
