What is an RFT file?

RFT files mostly belong to RoboForm by Siber Systems. An RFT file is an encrypted identities database created by RoboForm password manager. The identities database contains a computer user's credentials (username, email, address, phone number etc.) for various websites. RoboForm uses identities saved in an RFT file to automatically fill out non-password form fields. Another type of RFT file is a template used to create a data family used by a model created with Revit building information modeling software.

How to open an RFT file

You need a suitable software like RoboForm to open an RFT file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your RFT file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a RFT file directly in the browser:.
