What is a SUP file?

SUP files mostly belong to SubRip by Brain and Zuggy. SUP is the filename extension of video subtitle files that contain pictures of text (instead of actual text) displayed during video playback. Subtitles stored in SUP file format are typically used in television, Blu-Ray, or DVD media. How can I open a SUP file?

You need a suitable software like SubRip to open a SUP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert.
